Hello!
We had a great Hafla party at the Baobab cafe - thanks Ghoezayma for organising, and for all the students who danced and came to watch... I think this leaves space for one more hafla this year - and seeing as it will be the last of the year, its going to be BIG - so lets all start practicing our dances! Dates and venue to be announced soon :)
Please read below carefully - as there have been some changes with class times and days... also the town fusion classes have been extended by 15 minutes, to allow an extra bit of time for proper cooldown at the end.

Marissa and Nix will be in Brighton in September attending workshops with Samantha Emanuel (www.vagabondprincess.co.uk) and Amy Sigil (www.unmata.com). Marissa (and James) will also be performing in the showcase held on the Friday night!!! (23rd September).

Soma is performing in the fringe performance on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We will also be part of an attempt to break the Guiness Book of World Records in the most bellydancers performing at once: Saturday 29th October at the V&A Waterfront. Please let your teacher know if you would like to be a part of this event in breaking the record - and we will be rehearsing the dance in class.

I have had the priviledge of watching Bozenka performa nd attending some of her workshops - she is truly a master of her craft, and I have heard nothing but glowing reports about Karim. I would highly recommend attending these workshops - especially if you mainly do Tribal Fusion, as these will introduce a completely new style to your reportoire and just make your craft stronger :)
